Why groups are choosing a chartered ride over a pedal tavern
Nashville's brewery and distillery scene has grown well past what a walking tour or a pedal tavern can cover in an afternoon. A group that wants to hit two or three stops, say a distillery in Marathon Village, a brewery in Wedgewood-Houston, and a rooftop bar downtown, needs a vehicle that can handle real distances between stops, not just a loop around one block.
Building the route
Most groups come to us with a wish list of four or five stops and a six-hour window, which is usually one or two stops too many once you account for pour time, bathroom breaks, and actual drive time between neighborhoods. We generally recommend three stops for a half-day outing, with 60 to 90 minutes at each, plus a buffer for the inevitable stop that runs long.
What to check before booking a venue
Not every distillery has bus parking, and some of the smaller tasting rooms in Marathon Village have loading zones that fill up on weekends. We coordinate directly with the venue ahead of time to confirm where the bus can actually park, so your group isn't standing on a sidewalk waiting for the driver to find a spot.
Group size and pricing
A 25-passenger bus works well for bachelorette parties, birthday groups, and office outings in the 15 to 25 person range. Larger groups, including full office parties or wedding parties combined with out-of-town guests, usually need the 35 or 56-passenger coach. Pricing is generally a flat rate for the block of hours booked, which is easier to split across a group than per-person rideshare costs once you add up four or five separate stops.
